Qualifications:
1. Native English speaker.
2. Teaching experience is an asset, but not necessary (training and teaching materials are provided)
3. BA Degree.
4. An easy going personality, responsible, and patient with young children.
Shanghai
Full Year English Teacher
Dates and Hours of Employment:
Contract from 1st September 2008 to 26th June 2009.
25 teaching hours per week (actual hours). Lessons range from 20 to 50 minutes in length.
Two days off a week.
Attendance at weekly meetings and school events.
Salary
8,000 to 10,000 RMB per month (no income tax required) depending on your teaching experience.
Holidays and Benefits
1. The school doesnĄ¯t provide free accommodation, but will provide help with finding you accommodation in Shanghai (Normally a one or a two bedroom flat costs between 3000 and 4000 RMB per month).
2. Free internet access during office hours.
3. Airport pick up in Shanghai.
4. Paid travel costs between your places of work in Shanghai.
5. China work permit provided.
6. Free Chinese lessons once a week.
7. Full salary paid during May and October public holidays.
8. No evening and weekend work.
Dongying school (Shandong Province)
Full Year English Teacher
Dates and Hours of Employment:
Contract from September 2008 to August 2009.
18 teaching hours per week (actual hours). Lessons range from 20, 45 to 90 minutes in length.
Two days off a week.
Attendance at weekly meetings and school events.
Salary
6600 RMB per month (before tax, after tax around 6300 RMB) depending on your teaching experience.
Holidays and Benefits
1. The school doesnĄ¯t provide free accommodation, but will provide help with finding you accommodation in Dongying (Normally a one or a two bedroom flat costs between 1300 and 1500 RMB per month).
2. Free internet access during office hours.
3. Airport pick up in Dongying or Jinan.
4. Paid travel costs between your places of work in Donying.
5. China work permit provided.
6. The end of contract bonus 3000 RMB.
7. 22 daysĄ¯ holiday on full salary (this includes public holidays).
8. Working days include some evening and weekend work.
9. Medical insurance up to 1300 RMB.
10. Flight ticket cost reimbursed 4200 RMB.
Ningbo school (Zhejiang Province)
Full Year English Teacher
Dates and Hours of Employment:
Contract from September 2008 to August 2009.
20 teaching hours per week (actual hours). Lessons range from 20, 45 and 90 minutes in length.
Two days off a week.
Attendance at weekly meetings and school events.
Salary
4000 RMB per month (no income tax to pay) depending on your teaching experience.
Holidays and Benefits
1. School will provide free accommodation, sharing living room, kitchen and bathroom with another teacher. Bills are paid by the school.
2. Free internet access during office hours.
3. Airport pick up in Shanghai.
4. Paid travel costs between your places of work in Ningbo.
5. China work permit provided.
6. Meal allowance of 300 RMB per month.
7. Seven weeksĄ¯ holiday on full salary (this includes public holidays).
8. Working days include some evenings and weekends.
9. End of contract bonus 8000 RMB.
10. A free two-day trip to a local beauty spot.
